Executive Committee

  • Members of the Executive Committee are selected from the community by the Policy Committee to serve at the MACC.
  • Members of the Executive Committee make recommendations to the Policy Committee and/or the Executive Director on policies and plans for the MACC region and its constituent members.

Executive Committee Members

Rosemary Ervine

Rosemary was nominated to join the Executive Committee in May of 2007 and was appointed as Chair in October of 2009. Rosemary retired in early 2007 from West Ottawa Public Schools where she spent nine years as the Superintendent and the previous four years as the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction. She worked previously for Kentwood Public Schools as an Assistant Superintendent, an elementary school principal and a teacher.

Blaine Koops

blaine koops thumbBlaine  served as the Chair of the MACC from FY 2006 thru FY 2009. He was recently reelected as the Allegan County Sheriff. He spent many years on the Holland Police Department and has a very keen understanding of many of the social issues that impact law enforcement, as well as the overall health of our community.

Hannes Meyers

hannes meyersHannes joined the MACC Executive Committee in 2002 after he retired as District Court Judge. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area and continues to serve as a visiting judge as needed. Hannes spent 17 years on the Michigan Department of Transportation Commission, including four years as Chairman, making him the longest serving member of that commission.

Bill Vanderbilt

bill-vanderbiltBill retired after 12 years as Executive Director of the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area. He was instrumental in fostering collaboration, and the eventual merger, of the Holland and Zeeland Community Foundations. Bill has helped to build the endowment of the Holland/Zeeland Community Foundation to over $25 million today, up from $2.7 million in 1994. Bill has a PhD from the University of Utah.

Pankaj Rajadhyaksha

Pankaj was nominated to join the Executive Committee in June of 2007. Pankaj has many years of banking experience in the area and has been with Bank of Holland for the last five years focusing on relationship managment, analytical work and assessing risk. His community involvement includes Zeeland AMBUCS including President of the Chapter and participation on a committee studying unmet transit needs througout the MACC area.
