Macatawa Area Coordinating CouncilInternship Opportunities
The Macatawa Area Coordinating Council typically offers internship opportunities each year. Both the Watershed and Transportation programs hire interns at various times of the year to help with specific tasks. Summer Watershed interns focus on community outreach and volunteer coordination with some office work including data entry, newsletter development and social media. Depending on the number of interested candidates and their availability, the Watershed program may hire more than one summer intern. Summer Transportation interns focus on public outreach at community events, creating GIS maps and assisting with newsletter development and social media.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we decided to cancel our 2020 summer internships. We hope to be able to offer internships again in the summer of 2021, but that is subject to change based on the status of COVID-19.
