  • Results of an 18-month study of sediment and E. coli in the Macatawa Watershed led by Hope College in partnership with the MACC and the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway. Note that this is formatted to print 11″x17″ (ledger).

  • Final report for a DEQ Water Quality Monitoring Grant that funded the investigation of several analytical techniques for their usefulness in characterizing sediment from locations in the Macatawa Watershed.

Hope College Student Research
Since 1997, junior and senior Hope College students have been putting their minds to work by answering some intriguing environmental questions in the Macatawa Watershed as part of the college’s Advanced Environmental Seminar class (GES 401). Under the tutelage of various Hope College professors, students have completed research projects on a wide range of environmental topics in the watershed with a special focus on water quality and transportation related issues. Every year, the students are hosted by the MACC to present their research findings to interested citizens and watershed stakeholders.
