Request for Proposals – Q&A POSTED 4/24/2020

The request for proposals referenced below and original published on April 10, 2020 has been modified. The modified version can be viewed here. Modifications include:

  • Removal of the budget limitation
  • Clarification to indicate that design alternatives to the initial concepts are acceptable will be considered.
  • Removal of  reference to submit hard copies that was in conflict with instructions to submit via email
  • Clarification of how the budget will be evaluated

The MACC is seeking proposals from qualified engineers and landscape architects to complete designs for two green stormwater infrastructure projects in the City of Holland. The projects are being funded by a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grant that was recently awarded to the MACC. The two projects may be included in a single bid or may be bid separately, keeping in mind that the budget indicated in the request for proposals (RFP) covers both projects. We will accept questions via email only to until noon on April 22. Responses will be posted to the MACC’s website and emailed directly to anyone that submitted questions by 5pm on April 24. Proposals are due via email to by noon on May 22. Proposals may be shared via Dropbox, Google drive, or other online service as long as we receive instructions for retrieving your proposal by noon on May 22. Additional details are found within the RFP. Upon request from proponents and with justification, the MACC may extend the deadline if restrictions due to COVID-19 have an impact on the preparation of proposals.
